Saria Parker, originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia is a sports professional, and also entrepreneur, Founding Sportsimist, a lifestyle brand exclusively for Women in sports business. Her background includes experience at the NBA, Fanatics, NASCAR, and DICKS Sporting Goods and degrees in Fashion Merchandising as well as Human Relations.

In sports, she saw a lack of representation for women like herself in front-office roles, despite African-American women excelling as athletes. Across major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB, their representation is less than 10%. Her experience of feeling isolated at work shed light on the gender disparities within the sports industry.
